The Spider is used primarily in very rough, hard to access or wet terrains where it would be difficult or impossible to use other equipment. This unique machine, manufactured in Switzerland by Menzi Muck, is used around the world.

The Spider does not have a conventional chassis or crawler type undercarriage. Instead, it is mounted to a platform with four independently operating supports. This enables the machine to overcome terrain obstructions, to adapt to changes in terrain and to have an unhindered level and secure 360 degree working range.
